VAIDYIX / RESOURCES

Ultrasound machine integration guide.

Prepare device details, sample files, patient identifiers and acceptance tests for ultrasound image transfer and reporting.

Treat integration as a tested transfer and identification workflow.

Discuss your requirements ↗

Collect device evidence

Record model, version, export options and vendor documentation. Ask which formats and DICOM services are enabled. Share de-identified samples through an agreed channel.

Map identifiers and network boundaries

Identify where patient and study identifiers originate. Document missing-value handling, connector location, destinations, permissions and monitoring ownership.

Test exceptions

A successful normal transfer is not sufficient; record who resolves each exception.

  • Representative study and correct patient identifier.
  • Missing or wrong identifiers requiring review.
  • Repeated, interrupted and delayed transfers.
  • Image selection and report generation after matching.

Inspect the final document

Have the clinician check quality, orientation and report layout. Confirm image selection permissions and storage procedures. Test unavailable transfer or storage components.

Keep acceptance device-specific

Record the exact machine and configuration tested. Re-test relevant device, connector or network changes. Acceptance for one machine does not establish compatibility for every model.
